Trailer Mounted Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF) Clarifier at Dairy Facility

Aries recently built and started up a new trailer mounted 50 gpm Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF) Clarifier at a dairy producing yogurt plant. The yogurt manufacturer reached out to Aries Chemical to solve their wastewater treatment problems that included reducing their BOD, TSS, Oil & Grease and Phosphorus discharge levels to the municipal wastewater treatment plant.

Aries performed laboratory treatability studies to develop a treatment followed by the design of a custom DAF clarifier system that fit inside a temperature controlled trailer. With the application of Aries treatment chemicals along with the DAF clarification system the yogurt manufacturer met the municipality effluent limits.
