Aries Rotary Drum Vacuum Filters (RVDFs) are designed for a wide range of liquid / solids separation. Typical applications include wastewater treatment and the processing of chemicals, cosmetics, foods, pharmaceuticals and minerals. Aries’ RDVFs are extremely versatile and provide reliable continuous liquid / solids separation with minimal operator attention. They are designed to handle difficult to separate slurries. Aries’ RDVF’s produce a low solids filtrate with high solids filter cakes.

Aries Rotary Drum Vacuum Filters (RVDFs) can be custom designed to meet unique application requirements. Aries’ RVDFs are self-contained systems designed to provide continuous solids dewatering. As the drum rotates, partially submerged in a slurry, the vacuum pulls air and liquid through the filter cloth located on the exterior of the drum. This leaves a dewatered filter cake that is scraped off with a doctor blade. RDVFs systems readily adapt to changes in slurry feed rates and solids concentrations. Typical volume reduction approaches 95 % with a high solids filter cake produced.
