Customer Service Representative


The Customer Service representative is responsible for providing Aries customers with professional support fulfilling their chemical demands with our products, in a timely, accurate and courteous manor. Support Sales staff in their efforts to develop, grow and retain Aries customer accounts in all sectors.

Essential Functions

  1. Provides timely and accurate information to customer regarding order and product knowledge requests.
  2. Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  3. Establish production schedules and priorities with internal and external warehouse’s.
  4. Provides effective communication to Purchasing about trucking and raw material needs.
  5. Works closely with the accounting department to resolve issues that could affect orders.
  6. Provides timely feedback to the Sales and Manufacturing regarding service failures or customer quality concerns about the product.
  7. Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
  8. Manage filing of support documents in regard to past orders, contracts, pricing, etc.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, type, lift, file etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Customer service experience.
  2. Computer experience, Microsoft office for business, enterprise management experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Customer service experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  2. Manufacturing scheduling knowledge, logistics experience.
  3. Familiar with Government regulation regarding shipping and labeling of chemicals a plus.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Previous experience with warehousing and distribution a plus.
